Product design is... Finding ways to improve everyday life for someone, whether that means making it easier, safer, more joyful, or all of those at once.

A good product is… Informed first and foremost by the needs and experiences of the people (or animals) who will use it.

  • I work best in environments with minimal zoom calls, lots of making, and constant variety, so I would love to work at a small studio (or start my own). I love working with all kinds of materials, from wood and metal to textiles and ceramics.

  • When I’m out for a walk around my neighborhood.

  • One of my core memories is making a blanket fort in my living room and staying up all night to read The Hunger Games when I was 12.

  • In bed or or on the couch, so I can hang out with my cats.

  • Probably Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings. I have always loved fantasy, and it would be amazing to experience that world.

“Product design finding ways to improve everyday life for someone.”
