Hourglass Reading Lamp
This design is a rechargeable reading lamp in the form of an hourglass. It aims to offer readers a calm and poetic reading experience. The object would come together with a charging base. The material for this design would be the translucent plastic, together with metal color plastic on both ends. There are LED lights installed on each end.
The use of this lamp is fairly simple. The users turn on the light the hourglass would light on one end. With time passing by, the energy on one end would be gradually consumed, and the light would move to the other end. Then the user could invert the lamp and recharge the used side.
With this circulating flow, the light would keep recharged and stream to the other end, referring to the idea of an hourglass. I believe with this interactive element, the readers would enjoy the light environment visually and have a fun and curative moment with this object.
